  24. Be sure your modem initialization string in your ppp login script
  25. contains '&D2' (without the quotes of course) to put the modem into a
  26. mode where it will disconnect when DTR drops due to the carrier
  27. disappearing.  That's all it took to solve this problem with my Zoom
  28. modem.
